    new top end

I had my top end done recently. That kit from amazon is available on ebay too, but does not come with a base gasket. Had to order separately.

    top end gasket replacement

I was just telling you what it cost me. Top end kit alone was 240 plus a timing chain was 40. O-rings needed to be replaced once we got in there and saw them, plus the cost of oil, etc. Was just trying to help.

    top end gasket replacement

I just had a friend work on mine who did most of the work. Started out as valve adjustment, turned out the cylinder had already been bored to max and was wearing out bad. Whole new top end later I'm in good shape. Cylinder and piston alone was 240. Total spent 550ish.

    Final Fantasy VII

I was around 17 when I was playing FF7. Got about 80 hours into it, little sister accidentally erased my memory card. I was so pissed off never played it again! FF9 is awesome too though.

    Insurance?

Anyone have insurance on your quad? Like if you got too deep and swamped the engine/hydrolocked? Progressive says they won't cover any of that unless it was a flash flood in the area, etc. I kinda would like if someone would fix me up if I mess something up bad by accident. Not collision...

Hey Jim, nice winch dude! You definitely need a winch where we're gonna be going during this rainy season! We're probably riding in a couple weeks. Did you get that thing down here yet???

Anyone know anything about Niche Carburetors?

Hey ZZP carbs are not bad, especially for the money. I've watched my buddy inspect one from the inside out, they're not bad.

    Suggestions on new Grips?

I had a really bad time putting new grips on and one of them ripped a little. What's the best way to put on new grips? Some kinda lube or something?

Need someone that knows Big Bear 350's!!

I have a Clymer manual for 87-04 Moto 4 and Big Bear. You might want to get one. It has a lot of pics of everything. I'm not sure exactly what part you need. I can maybe get you a pic of something if I know exactly which part. It was about 20 bucks but a manual is a life saver!

    Vaseline spark plug

I usually squirt a little in the boot to go over the plug. Dielectric, not vaseline that is! And I believe it's to keep the water out of the plug so it doesn't arc electrically across from tip to bottom of the porcelain.

What did you do to your quad today?

Steel winch cable had so many kinks and burrs in it. Hooked up a new synthetic Amsteel winch line with Hawse fairlead. Took some ingenuity and welding, but me and my stepdad knocked it out in a couple hours. Yes I need a little touch up paint on the front end!

    Project Bear Tracker Restoration

That's why there are always broken links that had been hosted by photobucket. Do what you like, I'm just trying to help. It's not just here; it's all over the web. To me, it's like still using an AOL account.
