I was wondering if the battery is charged in a 4 wheeler when it runs, I know in a car a alternator charges the battery while the engine is running. Does the stator do the same for quads and bikes??

So i rode for about 3 hours yesterday and about an hour into the ride it started cutting out then went back to the truck and the sparkplug gap was way off, so set it to .026 and took off again, and ran like a raped ape, never missed a beat! But then an hour after that is started cutting out...

Alright i need to adjust the float on my carb to see if that will help with the cutting out. Does anyone know the the correct height for the float??

so i was going to adjust the valves tonight and i went and picked up the feeler gauge http://www.oem-tools.com/products/show/25023 but i think it wont work?? because all the sizes are to big. what do you think? exhuast valve .06 - .10 mm intake valve .16 - .20 mm
