When you do change that filter and put those bolts back in be careful that is alum and will strip easy don't crank down on them snug them up good but don't over tighten them.
 
thanks alot for telling me that. i just recently had a gas leak on a snow blower and riped a bolt head off tightening it to much..ended up being a bad gasket though.

Eather way you can't go wrong its a oil cooler its going to cool the motor internals regardless it just might not cool in some places ans much as others
 
looks nice, maybe chop the front hood up to have more gap like the 660 for airflow, you have any more pics of that beast up?
