well i had a buddy over today and we were talking about the warrior and kfx and he asks "wanna run em? and i said sure so in the 100 yard dash we had 2 good runs and the warrior lost by 2 links to the 450 ATMOST i got side by side if i missed a shift and it got to like 3-4 if he missed a shift so ya its a quick bike!

any who after that was said and done we decided to weight them and what i found astonished me

warrior
317.6LBS
weight distribution
18.35% up front
81.65% out back and dead even sisde to side

KFX
386.0LBS
42.48% front
57.52% rear

the warrior is freaking lighter!?!?!?!?!?!?
dont ask me were all the weight went because im not even sure. lol

Somethings wrong theres no way you could have 18% weight on the front. Plus a warrior would have more than 50% front. Also i think your off by 80 lbs

Yeah I agree with you there. Basically with all the welding you did to your frame really added a ton of weight alone.

Keeping up to a piped KFX which I've read has about 45-46 hp to the wheels, with your mods is not going to happen. Even a stroked out 446cc fully built engine will have trouble.

Your Power:Weight Ratio is 1 : 20.8 -stock warrior

Your Power:Weight Ratio is 1 : 9.8 -stock KFX

Now lets look at modded and what it would take to get you close..

Your Power:Weight Ratio is 1 : 8.5 -Piped KFX around 45-46hp

Your Power:Weight Ratio is 1 : 8.6 -warrior weight 318 and 37hp

Just an FYI a stock raptor 250 weights 330lbs wet. That thing is a small little machine. In my opinion there is no way you could get a warrior down that low with out some serious weight reduction. There is no way that engine with those mods could get over 30hp to the wheels. Not trying to be mean or a jerk but come on man lets be realistic. Nothing personal.

Not lien unless my scale is lieing to me about it's weight as for performance it runs wicked, I plan on running it on a dyno spring break at the dunes

nope, i need to tho. i may do it some time next week if i think about it, im gonna do some changes tire wise and some minor parts changes but nothing mojor. i guess i can still weigh it.
