Good post Lucas. I have gone through all this in the past myself when i did mine. I looked at all the options and ended up just finding a whole BB motor to use. I have 28" tires and needed the gearing for the tires anyways. I am only 1mm over too so that gives me room if I need to do one...
Sorry guy none that I know of. Best thing to do is look at the online mircophice. Take it apart and be sure to pay attention to what your doing so it goes together the exact same way. Like stated above get a carb kit if you can find one. No one make much for the wolverine. K & L makes one...
On the old style Wolvy's the balljoints were not replaceable. Ypu have to buy the whole arm. I took some 87' Warrior a-arms I had around here that were replaceable and graphed the arms together to make mine replaceable now.
As far as I know that DG is the only one that comes with a header for the wolverine. I had a DG on my Warrior. Its not super loud but the damn thing rusts just like a stock pipe.
I have the Wiseco 10.25:1 in mine and a webcam moving the valves and mine is a total bear to start some times. Its pretty normal to have to bump the start button a few time to get he to fire off. I just haven't brought myself to cut the battery box yet.
You need the 5th gear out of a Big Bear 400. While your splitting the case to install that gear I would think about some engine mods too.
You can find used BB transmission gear sets on ebay for fairly cheap.
Yup, done it. Bolts right in the only thing you have to modify is upper motor mount bracket. It has to be drilled out a little because the cylinder on the 400 is 8mm taller than the 350 cylinder. (Longer Stroke) Then once you throw a high compression piston (warrior/ wolverine) in it the...
I think your throwing too much air at it right now if your running a 2" snorkle. The problem is your going to be able to tune it so it runs good at an idle or its going to run good full throttle but nothing in between. Its becasue a 2" snorkle creates such a ram air effect that its hard to...
