On the old style Wolvy's the balljoints were not replaceable. Ypu have to buy the whole arm. I took some 87' Warrior a-arms I had around here that were replaceable and graphed the arms together to make mine replaceable now.

No the rear uses a larger u-joint.

As far as I know that DG is the only one that comes with a header for the wolverine. I had a DG on my Warrior. Its not super loud but the damn thing rusts just like a stock pipe.

I know on my Warrior I just took a hole saw to the lid to open it up.

what year was your bike? There are different 424's for the wolverine aren't there.

You need the 5th gear out of a Big Bear 400. While your splitting the case to install that gear I would think about some engine mods too. You can find used BB transmission gear sets on ebay for fairly cheap.
