it's more like a third. my digital camera quit on me. when you are looking at the head of the valve, where you put the three angle grind, 2/3 is silver, and 1/3 is still black. my experience with bent valves is they cause the vehicle not to run. this warrior has a supertrapp on it, so any sounds...
this is the only thing that makes sense. my exhaust valve is not sealed like it should be. when looking at the sealing area of the valve, about one quarter is black. the seat is all silver in color. is this normal, or did whoever not lap the valve whenever? the reason i say running on bent valve...
battery was @12.9 this morning, but wouldn't crank. i put the charger on it @4A, and it starts. it is not the stock battery, it is a 14AHBS. if not a battery issue, must be a regulator issue. any ideas? thanks in advance.
nevermind, this beasty ran before in the same configuration. i disconnected the park brake jumper, smoked out the smaller ground lead. i cleaned the battery's terminals, the gound strap at the engine, the solenoid ends. cranked right up. the ends corrode quick on these.
in reading a bit more, i removed the jumper i had installed in the park brake leads. the battery was acting up, so i started jumping the solenoid. the smaller black wire from the battery to the harness, smoked up. i'm told that this is due to a bad ground somewhere. question is, why would i be...
on the warrior you have a starter solenoid, and two safety relays. the relays (plastic encased) are those to which i refer. i did an dc test on the green one. two of the wires show to be carrying 10.48Vdc. i jumped those two together and nothing. i want to bypass or eliminate the relays. by...
i've been reading up on some of the pullers on ebay and elsewhere. there seem to be at least two different pullers for the warrior. that is easily figured out. the cheapest one i've seen for sale was 35~37. you can rent some off of ebay, but i'd rather have my own. i wish the bike shops would do...
so i was trying to remove my warrior's rotor, with heat, and my puller stripped out. i bent two main screws in the puller, used a breakover bar with 2' cheater pipe, used the impact. nothing worked. i oiled the impact this last time, and it seemed like it was coming off. so keep the trigger...
ok, i have spark, but the rotor will not come off. i bought three grade 8 bolts to use with my harmonic puller. my impact gun has less torque than my cheater bar'd breakover. this is hella stuck. any ideas besides getting a better impact gun? the last time i tried, the crank bolt got bent.
so i have the requisites, but the thing will only pull start. it currently has the 'short sweep' rotor on it. i would change it out, except, when using my harmonic puller, it bent the crap out of my puller's bolt. i got another bolt, it bent it too. my bro must've jammed the rotor in place...
