DRW can you grab a measurement off the kfx450 and is the 250x swinger the same as the 300ex
 
I've done some homework on banshee round carriers. The swingarm shop outta Michigan makes swingarms in house.
I have emailed him several times. He said he will make swingers to order using the banshee jig, and the warrior length pivot. These are the units he builds.

They use the stock Banshee axle, which I have read is the same as a warrior axle.. The only thing you would have to change is the brake rotor hub, and maybe your caliper..
Now IMO this is a cheaper alternative to pricey warrior round carrier conversion kits. (Like the lonestar swingers)..

The 250x will be same as the 300ex. They are the same bike, except for displacement, and electric over kick start. There is also a build thread on 3ww, on an 86 atc350x using a trx450r swinger. Very good build thread. MAY help with this...

INCORRECT! the warrior axel is a 50mm the banshee is a 40mm not even close!!

Well to make a long story short.. I think I'm gonna do it!
Get the swingarm shop to make me a swinger, buy a tusk banshee axle. Get the motor city carrier, and some used sprocket/brake hubs.. I should be able to make this all work for under $600 bucks.

I really need the honda style carrier. My 490 absolutely killed the adjusters on my stock set up. I figure the twin bearing round carrier should be able to handle the extra torque, and I can run a longer swinger which I need bad right now.. lol
