    Wolverine BigBear Gear Swap.

I have been looking into doing the BigBear gear swap. I know that most guys are doing the 1st gear swap for more bottom end torque but what I am looking at doing is the 4th and 5th gear swap for more top end. I currently have a 446 stroker will all the goodies and it pulls my 25" tires like a...

    carb problem

My guess is a leaky intake boot. Had the same thing happen and loosened the clamps and wiggled the carb some, retightened the clamps and problem solved.

    What Carb

I am running a Z400 suzuki carb on my wolverine. Stock throttle cable and intake boot. Intake boot I heated with the heatgun to get it to stretch over the larger carb bell but once I got my clamp tight it hasnt been a problem. You will also need a manual style choke plunger, and will have to...

    FST 435

I didnt cut the battery box. The factory battery didnt fully take up the entire battery box so I bought a battery that takes up the entire box, without cutting into my plastics.

Changing out Starter on 2005 Wolverine 350

if it is a grinding noise just save yourself the trouble and dont worry about it, The gears on the starter and starter reduction gears starts to wear over time causing the sound. You can spend a few hundred bucks on new gears and fix the problem but I went this route and if had to do it over...

    99 wolverine carb

Managed to do the Z 400 carb swap, huge difference in throttle response. I had the stocker dialed in perfectly but this thing puts it to shame and im not done tuning. Pulls hard all the way! May do a How-to if I get the time.

    Z400 carb guide

Anyone try using the raptor 350 throttle cable with the z400 carb? Figured it would save you from buying the thumb lever.

    01 wolvy problems

Make sure the mating serfaces are clean and make sure the head isnt warped. Also torque the head bolts in a cross pattern and work your way up to the final torque.

    Highlifter/Epi clutch kits

Clutch felt like it was slipping. Too much stall for trail riding.

    Highlifter/Epi clutch kits

If all you do is mud bogging get the springs, otherwise I wouldnt even mess with it. I liked the extra grunt when in mud but for trailriding I didnt really like the springs.

Rear Axle needs replacement...OEM or upgrade?

Never heard of replacing the gear too, nor does the factory service manual say anything about this? Please share where you got this info? I also like the factory axle compared to the durablue for the wolverine anyways. The factory axle will bend before it breaks, like after a heck of a...

    99 wolverine carb

If it wont rev that sounds like the parking brake switch on the left lever, did you try disconnecting the switch? I have never heard of a engine still running with a bad cdi box but I dont have much experience with them either.

    99 wolverine carb

I do love the idea of being able to adjust without the use of tools. I am working on a carb swap from a suzuki z400, its been done on warriors so I am going to give it a shot on the wolverine. I think the 350 raptor carb may make a nice upgrade as well. Both the Raptor 350 and Z400 carbs are...

    99 wolverine carb

They are pricey carbs! Lots of mixed reviews but im sure tuning the carb is the trick. glad to know that is a option for us wolverine owners!

    99 wolverine carb

I think the raptor 350 has the wires comeing off the carb but I dont know for sure. I do know it is a 36mm carb and the choke is operated with a cable on the bars so you may convert it to on the carb choke setup. Someone on the forum has the edelbrock carb but never really went into much...
