How tight should it be? I'm using a jug spacer and it is way tight. If I take the head gasket I can get the chain on easy. If I use the 3 layer gasket it will not slide up on the cam. Any ideas? Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk now Free

I built a stroker motor. I used a +4 stroker crank, a wisco, 20 over piston, and a stage 2 hot cam. I put an .080 thousands jug spacer in. The timeing chain was a wisco. It ran for 30 seconds. When I took it apart I found it broke the tooth off the cam that aligns the cam. I have not took it...

Locked motor so I'm putting in stroker crank. I'm planning on using a wisco 40 over piston with gasket spacers. I'm not using the stroker piston. Anyone have any suggestions or stuff to look out for. I'm doing the cooler mod also. And stage 2 hot cam. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2

I got a pair of used work's shocks. It is the style u have to compress the spring to move the clip. A ratchet strap works well. May not be the safest, but works. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2

I bought a new boot when I built the motor. It has been a couple months. The boot is not split it has came apart from the medal in the middle. Has any one seen this. When I built it I jeted the carb and reworked the accelator pump. When u hit the gas u can see it flex and I mead flex.

:argh: I did a rebuild about a month ago. This was not a total but went pretty far. It consisted of rebuilding tarans, not the crank, 3 angle valve job using old valves and springs, new valve seals, rebuilt carb with uping jets and accelartor pump, new intake, upgraded air filter running no lid...

I did a rebuild about three weeks ago. It has new rings and exhaust seals. I'm still getting a little smoke when it starts and if u hold ur hand behind it u get a little oil resadue. The worst part is the top end rattle i've adjusted the valves to stock. I seen a few threads about going tighter...

I don't know how many of u have kids, but I had the most fun with my son riding today. I ride a 04 warrior I've done a little work to. Don't beat me up to bad but his starter bike is an ltz 250. If u can do it with them it's awsome to see how they get better and better as the day goes.
