Got a raptor 350 with a blown motor, want to take the carb off of it and put it on my warrior. I have the intake boot for the carb and i know i need jets because i have a pipe but is there anything else i need? My 38mm keihin i believe is just to big and im having to many problems with it.

    Old 39mm slide Jet question

Similar as far as the a/f screw and idle screw, but the choke isnt a lever. Seems that the person i bought the bike from had the idle way up cause i noticed alot of gap in the slide so i lowered it and it starts alot better now. If i gun it from an idle it hesitates and spits gas so i went and...

    Old 39mm slide Jet question

have a warrior with an old 39mm keihin slide carburetor and i think im having an issue with the pilot jet. It wont start cold at all and i have to get pull started and it seems like it floods out if im riding for more then 20 minutes. Changed the main jet down quite a ways and it made a...

keihin pe 38mm vs mikuni btm

I have an old keihin 38 slide without the accelerator pump and it rides just fine. As far as an upgrade i really aint sure i bought the bike with it and supposedly a stage 2 cam but it feels about the same as my raptor 350 with just a yoshi slip on. You do have a pipe and bigger piston i see so...

    Water in motor, wd-40?

Went riding last weekend and broke my chain off a little ways down the trail. So i let a big 4x4 pull me back and through a couple deep puddles and didnt think twice about it, come to find out today that my motor was full of water. So i pulled the plug and carb and turned it over till i got all...

    Stupid kinda funny

Posted a thread awhile back about my buddys big bear 400 and the chain tensioner setup he had. Needless to say he bought the bike with the tensioner like this and the previous owner said he never touched the motor since the day it was bought. Be careful buying used i guess goes without saying.

    Clutch cooler mod instructions?

Was thinking about doing the clutch cooler mod cause i have 2 spare clutch covers to toy with and found this off of google. Pretty clear cut instructions and it seems cheap and easy is there any missing details i should know? I seen a couple people that would do them on here but i would like to...

dragracing the warrior on friday. Anybody ever run there YFM350 on the strip ??

They got a dragstrip down the road from my house with the same setup. 1/8 mile 20 bucks to race all night the only thing you need are good tires (obviously) boots, helmet and a tether kill switch like on jet ski's. Only thing you need to be worried about is keeping the front down. Watched a guy...

    Starting problem

Ya thats when i first got the bike about 5 months ago i wrapped all the wiring up and looked for cuts but didnt see any wires that were grounding out. I got the bike for 400$ with a extended swingarm stage 2 cam a 39mm slide carb and a fmf exhaust so i wasnt to worried about the crap wiring job...

    Funny but sad, timing chain

Went riding with a buddy recently who has a big bear 400, just bought it a month ago and loved the bike. So i meet him out at our favorite mud hole to see what it will do. As soon as he started the bike i knew either the timing chain was strected to the max or his valves were way off so we...
