Went riding last weekend and broke my chain off a little ways down the trail. So i let a big 4x4 pull me back and through a couple deep puddles and didnt think twice about it, come to find out today that my motor was full of water. So i pulled the plug and carb and turned it over till i got all the water out but im a little worried that my rings might be a little rusty or i might still have moisture in the jug. Would it be alright to spray a little wd-40 through the spark plug hole and let it sit for a few hours then clear it out?

Fill the cylinder at bottom dead center with Marvel mystery oil in the spark plug hole let it seep for a couple days drain it all out and blow the rest out of the spark plug hole by turing it over and put in new oil and ride!
