    Carb adjustment and new plug

It's not April 1st, is it? That's why it's called "Mystery" oil... it's a mystery that anyone believes claims like that... It will not fix bad/worn/tensionless oil rings or scratches in the cylinder. Two weeks, one week, 5 minutes...whatever mystery sauce happens to leak past said worn rings...

    restoring plastics

I did my son's little yellow DS80 rear fender that was sun burned. Started with a razor scraper pulled backwards (yes, the fender was almost white), getting a majority of the white off. Followed up with 220 wet, then 400, then 2000 (way too fine, but it's all I had), then Meguiar's Diamond Cut...

    Funniest headline ever

Hmmm, having a tough time myself... Wondering which one she is in the pic, the one on the left or the one on the right?

Any one ride a stand up Jet Ski before?

Price probably is not out of line. They go for $200-500ish around here depending on condition. I had an X2, which was the same basic lower hull with a "sit down" (and I use that term loosely LOL) upper and dirtbike style handlebars. Be careful, they WILL blow your shorts off when learning how...

    warriorrider01 project "cheap ass"

Yup, I did only the top end on mine. Bore was standard, only a wee little ring ridge. I just honed 'er and let it rip.

    warriorrider01 project "cheap ass"

Valve adjustment has nothing to do with the seals. I'd look more towards weak oil rings. Mine had a shitload of compression (top rings were great) but oil rings had NO tension left in them (stock originals) and smoked like a freight train.

Cant decide valves-need info or opinions

The Shindy valves that I put in mine had the identical markings on the head that the OE ones had. Fleabay, around $27/set I think. Both may have been sourced from the same overseas vendor...

    Craigslist find; parts

Not my stuff, just trying to help out. Mount Pleasant is located southeast of Pittsburgh, PA. http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/mcy/2900908413.html

    Nitrous on a warrior?

Sure, why not? Fogger kit? Plug the empty 3 fuel/giggle gas solenoid ports and let 'er eat! Can't imagine a small shot would hurt a thing. Ran one on a bone stock 900 Ninja back in the day (cast pistons, stock timing, etc.). May need a colder plug.

    Tri-Z 250! Lookin for a lil help.

Just breakin' yer stones, bub. My WR200RD basket case is a 1 year wonder too. Sorry I have no input to the swap idea. I do know that era ('84-86ish) YZ250 makes for a real tractable engine if you can get around those roadblocks. The '84 on the right in my avatar was much easier to ride than...

Got new jets fired up still same issue

This says pilot jet increase needed. Look at the carb. The pilot meters what is discharged past the screw's taper. Still may have leaky intake issue too (?). Sounds like needle height would have little to do with this symptom, main jet even less. Go fatter on the pilot till she gags at/off...

Got new jets fired up still same issue

Stumbles ONLY when you blip the throttle? Can you "sneak up" on the revs and will it run mid/high RPM? Sounds like an accelerator pump circuit issue to me. Have you verified that the nozzle is discharging properly? The circuit is very tiny. Might be plugged a little. Just a thought.

    idle problems

Could be either: 1) cracked intake manifold 2) improper float level 3) crud in carburetor

    oil in air box

It's called blowby. Piston rings no longer seal to the cylinder well. Probably needs top end rebuilt (oversize bore/piston/rings at least). Or the crankcase is overfilled.

    SixPack or Factory Racks.

Got it from a relative's old Warrior. No clue of the manufacturer. I assumed it was OE, dunno. It was black, I painted it Rustoleum Hammered silver.

    SixPack or Factory Racks.

Hey baby, nice rack: It just mounts to the stock grab rail. I put some thin rubber (inner tube cut into strips would work) between the rack and rail to make it fit better. Probably would wad up like a wet noodle if you rolled it.

250R basket case, what's it worth?

My opinion? Basket cases = almost free. In general, nobody wants em, and there are lots to pick from. Both of my recent dirt bike finds were basket cases. I got both for less than a new helmet costs. Neither bike actually needs that much to get back up and running, either. The WR even has all...

    anybody else hate their warrior???

I've owned and ridden lots of stuff (about 40 and counting), from '70's era minibikes to nitrous injected sportbikes. Quite a few of them came in a box, like the 2 dirt bikes I have now (ie. junk - LOL). That's not including the jet skis, cars, trucks, snowmobiles... My stock Warrior was in...
