yeah being on Dialysis for 14 years and counting tends to take a toll on the body how old do you think I am? lol

Ya look atleast 45 closer to 50, but if you started Dialysis anywhere near when you were diagnosed that would put you somewhere around my age.

Yeah Ed. Not to be an ass, but you do look older then I expected, too. Ya kinda look like you've spent most of your life on a fishing vessel. lol. I mean that good naturedly.

1998, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes working on a car. I whack my head every ******* day, so I can only guess as to how many dents you have in your head. 6' is a good height to work in cars.
Luckily for me the Rotary lifts I have the pleasure of working with(best lift in my opinion) seem to lift higher than others. If I dont put it on the locks the only thing I really have to watch out for is the arms. Of coarse I do have to remember the rear diff's they tend to hang down right at face level(dont ask!!) My buddy keeps telling me I need to wear a hat as a early warning system for my head, I siad hows thats supposed to help when its always the back or sides of my head!!! LOL

Hey man, I have this little bump on the tip of my nose and it drives me crazy. People don't really seem to care about it, but I always feel like it is an elephant in the damn room. So I know how you feel, although my nose "issue" is a bit different then yours. Funny thing is that I don't mind any of the scars on my face, or the rest of my body, but that ******' bump drives me nuts!!! lol

Or how about when you get those dodges with their stupid trailing arm solid axle set up and you smack the **** out of your head on the trailin arm mounts? Or, ford with their rediculasly narrow frame rails, and you are pulling the fuel tank, and whack!!!! You hit your goddamn head on the lift arm!

You cant tell in my pics I dont think but my nose is a little longer than normal!!! Got it from my moms dad, identical nose!!! My favorite grandpa when he was still alive.

Ironically with my size I rarely have had a hard time getting jobs that required alot of heavy lifting. Wonder why!!:haha:

well I was diagnosed at age 3 and got my first transplant at age 12 lasted 10 years and started dialysis at age 23 and now I'm 36
Damn I really look 10 - 15 years older WOW didn't expect that!
It's all good just 1 thing Walk a day in my shoes and you'll know why Lol!!

Same here. I'm no where near as big as you, but I'm almost freakishly strong for someone that doesn't work out (get that from my grandpa, also got his metabolism, eat anything, gain nothing!). I won't win an arm wrestling contest, could never seem to isolate one muscle group of my body, but can use my whole body to do **** these fit college shmucks can't do. lol. Just naturally strong.

Dont even bring up dodges to me, between those and chevys- especially the 3.1-3.4- thats been what we've been busting our asses on trying to get them out the door. Between those to makes we've done about 15+ engines swaps on in about the last 2 months. Just did a Stratus tranny with a 2.7, talk about no room. Damn near have to flip the tranny on its side just to get it out. My arm size dont help sometimes either. Lets not make this a make debate though, we already have a thread about that!!!:haha:

I didn't expect ya to look like that either.. I kinda pictured you as a short little baby faced dude..
Apparently I was wrong. lol

I totally agree man. I am a born and bread gm man. But, I so tired of all the fighting and debating. People can drive whatever they want to drive, I can really give a **** less. Cause, at some point, no matter what the **** it is, it will need a major, headache repair done to it.

But, other then the factory intake gasket going bad on a 60* gm v6, they rarely do it again after that, unless some dumb bastard didn't clean the gasket surface right. Just had to do all 4 balljoints, both hub bearing, a right side tie rod/drag link end, and alignment on an '04 dodge 2500 4s4 cummins. I couldn't tell ya how many of them I've done that to. I just did 3 enging jobs back to back. 91 f150 4x4 w/5.0 efi, 97 safai van 4.3 v6 (gotta drop the sub frame), and 97 f150 4x4 4.6. God what a big ****** engine they made them things. It's physically larger then the 8.1 in my truck, with WAYYYYYYYY less power. lol.

My math was close and thats about how old I thought you were before the pic. No need to walk in your shoes, I have my own set of problems. One having knee problems since I shot up in height so quick, than theres my asthma(yes I partake in my cigars and such yet!!) Besides I couldnt fit in your shoes and you would look like a clown wearing mine!!!:haha: Size 16!

My metabolism isnt what it used to be, but Ive always been the guy that everyone would go you cant move that. Guess what where do you want it!!! LOL Arm wrestling is something I am good at as long as I dont go agianst some one with short arms! Guess it does help that I did work out for the longest time do specialized lifting techniques. Ya know good old football in HS.

It's funny.
Now that you can ID the person your chat'n with, it kinda puts the way word things in perspective. lol
Of coarse it could be the case of beer I just drank?

Couldn't tell ya dude, never made it to high school. Was home schooled after the 7th grade. Moved here, and found that the school systmes sucked ass. I have bad hearing and although I was an A studant and honor role blah blah, they wanted me in special ed. Bullshit! Anyhow, there is one prob of mine, poor hearing. The other is that whole knee **** you brought up. Same thing here I shot up too damn quick in the 6th grade and my knees suffured because of it. I come home after being on the concrete all day, and lifting ****, that I can hardly walk. Not something I like having at 24.

So far engine swaps wise though the 2 biggest pains in the but have been a 99 caddy (northstar) and a 94 Astro Van. We've agreed to only take either of them setups on agian if we were out of work to do!!!! You obviously have an idea on how a caddy is, the astro van pulled the whole header panel lights and all out talk about an engine shoe horned in place!!

Yeah the astro is the same as a safari but I think you had the old body style. I had the new one. Not too bad, I'll do another. Northstar is all you have to say, and I don't want anything to do with it. lol. What do you for your knees man? I don't take anything but should. My legs are super strong from riding horses my whole life, just my knees suck ass.
