Hmm, I really wanna run the 12:1 with my .450 cam & I have plans to run a race gas mix. So using an adjustable cam gear & getting the cam timing back to "stock" while using the .450 & JE piston of either compression is going to have valve to piston clearance issues? I'm not likely going to run a base gasket unless the JE brings the deck closer to "0".

no it didn't. that's one reason i wanted to get rid of it because i wanted to keep the cfm box. it would have been naggered to be honest because i did actually slit the opening in the air tube to fit around it.

that should be just like mine. i'll look at my paper weight when i get home. it's a megacycle 252x1

Yep that cam will give you a great mid and top end pull.

Heres more info on that cam. Its looks fuggin huge. The duration and lobe spacing is huge! Looks bigger then the .430 race I had, perhaps the pic is deceiving. It's deff for a longer stroke.

It has pretty much the same duration as your old one with slightly higher lift on intake and less on exhaust
