    Just don't understand....

We have the right to shoot-to-kill here in Texas. But they were quite sneaky and quiet. I just don't understand. We have a Doberman Pinscher that barks at the slightest noise. But she never made a sound. Very careful were these guys.

    Just don't understand....

The mean people in this world. My Warrior has been stolen! They got my neighbors 4-wheeler and a lawn mower too. Police report filed. Not mad as much as disappointed in people. At least they didn't get my kids' little dirt bikes (which have now been secured in a newer, better location). I'd...

    Cam chain & bearings

Thanks. I am thinking cam chain too. I pulled the cam chain tensioner off and poked my finger down in the hole. I could push down on the guide approx one inch. When I removed the CCT the thing was all the way out. At any rate, anything of this magnitude will be my mechanic's problem. I don't...

How much can you draw from a stock charging system?

Here's a thought - could we replace our headlight and tail light bulbs with Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and save some power there? AND have brighter lights, a sharper updated look with less power? Thinking of this option for my machine.

    'Nuther Clutch Related Question

Would difficulty shifting, and having the ability to travel in reverse (with clutch engaged) be a product of a bad clutch and or clutch cable? And not necessarily the transmission? I understand these transmissions are pretty difficult to damage.

    Sickest warrior ever

Yeah...that's a nice one. Real nice. My only issue is TOO MANY STICKERS & DECALS. Makes it look too busy. Keep it a little simpler.

    Cam chain & bearings

OK...now that I've had a little time to ride my Warrior, (and not being any kind of expert at all) I believe I have narrowed my engine rattling noise down to a loose cam chain. It seems to sound consistent when riding on flat surfaces but when I go over large bumps or little ditches, it sounds...

    FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS - Difficult?

09-01-2012 As an update....I DID IT! It took me about 3 hours to complete the job for both front wheel bearings and seals. But job complete. I rode it some and its much better. No more howling! Thanks guys!

    My kids and I

Yeah...I began my fun at the age of 7 in 1977. My mom bought be a brand new Honda QR50. Then in '79 I got a new Honda Z50. Wore it out and moved up to a Honda XL80. Got one of the first Suzuki LT125 Quadrunners available in 1983. Wore it out and got a new Yamaha Moto4 in summer of 1984. Didn't...

Adding an extra plate in the clutch pack

Well....MS WARRIOR is my new mentor. He has recommended this fix to me. My clutch is slipping, especially when I give it more acceleration a medium speeds. It revs up but doesn't seem to get any faster, if at all. And I don't need to use the clutch when in reverse, it just goes backwards with...

    Factory/Stock Exhaust

Gentlemen: I don't have any money for it at the moment. But eventually I will be on the hunt for a good, used stock exhaust pipe for my '98 Warrior. It has a Supertrapp on it now. Call me a sissy, but I just don't like the added noise and I don't believe having it is worth the little extra...

    QUADBOSS Starters

Anyone have an opinion/opinions of the QUADBOSS brand of starters for ATV's? RECOMMEND or AVOID? And are they of ample strength?

    Warrior pics

Roman's '98 Warrior. Just did the front wheel bearings, changed the oil and added a new battery and replacement taillight. So much more to do: Add a front bumper, new clutch cable, recover the seat, clean/adjust the carb, adjust cam chain, valves, rear axle bearings and new air filter. So...

    Oil Drain Plug

I was just changing the oil in my '98 Warrior when I noticed the oil drain plug came off in two pieces. How much are these things new? It looks like it was broken before and some previous owner rigged it to work without obtaining a new one. Boy, the guy that owned this machine before me must...

3 Ball bearings fell out of the oil drain

YES! Much good luck to you sparkymichigan! These are the things I am terrified of! Mainly because I never have extra money for repairs and I am not quite savvy enough to make repairs on my own!
