I think so, i had a friend with a moto4 200 that did this, the clutch was out of wack, and when you put it into reverse, the motor died, until the clutch was properly adjusted... not sure if this is the issue or not, waiting for OP to respond
Not sure but does it grind or jerk when you shift into reverse or does it go smoothly? Maybe your clutch is out of adjustment, just a wild guess though??
Yeah if you can solder, those pickup coils are like $15 versus $150 for the stator, its worth it unless you want a bigger stator for the purpose of more output or something....

Mine isnt bothering me that much where i cant ride it, its just anoying coming from being able to ride the pipe on my 2 stroke to not being able to wind out...
Yeah i know theres no limiter.... Plug is dry/dark its not jet black but its dark gray.... No other running problems that i have other then at the very top of each gear at WOT it sound like a limiter but i know theres not one....
I know my plug is richer then it should be, but its not that...
I would say bigger main jet, or the accel pump?
Mine is NOT bogging but rather sounds as if it is "hitting a rev limiter" when i reach WOT on the road it just goes nun nun nun, (not bogging) just sounds like the revs are bouncing, like the bike wants to go faster but its running out of fuel....
You prob. have a broken drain screw or a crack in the overflow nipple then, if all other issues were eliminated first.... Good luck with your new carb....
