87 Arms are def. different my brother in law has a 87 and was going to "borrow" one of my arms so he could ride one weekend. The 87's are really better arms they are thicker tubing and just very stout over all plus its the only year the ball joint is replacable. I think the 87 shared alot of...
I just replaced the stator with a brand new one. I ohmed it out and I want to say that everything was in spec according to Ricky's but not to the clymers manual. So any other idea's????????
I have a 2001 Warrior that hasn't started since I bought it two and a half years ago. It will start if its push started and then if you let it get hot it will start on its own. I've unwrapped the wiring harness from the fuel tank back to the cdi and I didn't see any cuts in the wires. I replaced...
Alot depends on personal prefrence. Unless you make them majorlly different it should be safe. I like my front end wider I feel like I can turn better, kick the back end into a slide easier, and I ride alot of tight trails and having the rear narrower lets you cut around trees sharper without...
There is a rev limiter on the warrior for when your in reverse or the parking brake is set isnt there????? So check your parking break switch, reverse lever switch, and I think the neutral relay also
Yeah even doing that usually doesnt work the only thing that works is to hit the start button just before I pop the clutch. Funny story I almost rolled my bike on pavement my buddy was pulling my with his truck going about 30 m.p.h. when he slowed down I acidentally drove over the tow rope then...
Has any body tried the ITP Holeshot GNCC's? I just ordered a full set mounted on T-9 Pro Rims for $399. Pretty good deal for mounted tire and rim combo. Anyway if anyone else is intrested in this deal go on ebay and search for the GNCC's They have them for pretty much any bike and I belive they...
Now that I finally have my starting problem figured out sumthing else just popped in my head. Up untill now I had to start my bike by push or pull starting my bike. So my question is...........When push starting a Warrior is it common to have the back tires lock up and drag instead of turn the...
OK new edit I worked on my bike again today and realized I was ohming out the wrong brown wire at the cdi end of the harness cause I'm a idiot so anyways I still dont know whats wrong but this is what I've found the green wire going to the reverse lever switch is hooked up to the ground wire...
I'm intrested but wont have the money for about two weeks. If its still around then I'll take it. I also have a couple of buddies looking for cheap quads I'll pass it on to them. If they get it first then I'll at least have some one to ride with.
Yeah those wires are connected they where for the clutch switch. I looked in my Clymer manual and there is supposed to be a parking brake switch to I'll have to look next time I go to my storage unit and work on my bike
