for cheap paint you can buy BBQ paint.. personally I use Automotive High Heat paint it costs 4x more but honestly you get what you pay for(in the case of paint typically more expensive stuff goes on smoother/doesn't chunk or run)
 
the paint I used on the 01 was $12 a can and it coats really good when it dries it's like a powder and now after running it a while the head pipe looks like it's been ceramic coated black but the DG supertrapp muffler hasn't gotten hot enough to cure like the head pipe
 
I used to do that to cure JB weld fast worked better than letting it cure normal the paint I used is Plastikote automotive header paint and it says to cure it right let it dry put on machine run for 15 min let cool 15min run for 20min let cool for 20min drive for 30 min let cool and it's finally cured good **** though
