Well i get the runtime environment dowloaded and i still cant do anything. What's up?

Do you have it installed? When you click on the gimp icon, do you get a small box opened? If so, click on file, then "new" and select a size, then go at it.

If you dont' have gimp installed but have downloaded it, go to "start" and "run" the environment then "run" the gimp. If you have any other problems, post in a little more detail what you have done and where you are at with it. We'll try to help.
