borregowarrior if your clutch is not slipping, completely drain the oil and just switch over to the atv oil...car oil has diff additives cause the bearings for the crank, rods and cam are not the roller bearing style like the ones inside of quads and bikes, they have more contact with the main caps and crank.... does that make sence haha
 
I think I will try the 10w-40 Valvoline ATV this winter and see how it does.
 
went to auto parts store today and all they had was the castroil motorcycle oil the gal there said it was for wet clutches but i don't know.they had no ATV oil. will this work??
 
Look on the back of the bottle, if there is a API stamp then no it won't work, but if it says its for motorcycles then it should work.
