im rebuilding the head on my warrior, and looking for at least new valves, valve seals, and guides, but not against replacing springs, rockers ect, whats your opinion on this kit...

i've had my caltric stator for over a year now, no issues yet what so ever, knock on wood

my voltage regulator was bad, charging 18-19v at idle, and boiling the water out of the battery, check voltage at battery terminals running to see. also if your battery is dry, i bet thats the problem

hold the rear brake while its in gear

check your pickup on the cdi too, maybe muddy or rusted/corroded

pour a half a capful of oil into the spark plug hole and test again, if the compression raises, its piston rings, if it stays the same its valve seats or seals

i have taken them apart before, can't remember for sure how to explain how to pull it apart without pictures

i jinxed myself posting about the engine cases, my 8yr old was riding today, flagged me down cuz his quad was trailing funny, and well, the pics speak for themselves

the lt80 can be made very fast, not a good choice racing unless there is little to no jumps because the engine is the swingarm and when you start jumping them you break cases, i have three lt80's, ported and very fast, but have two broken cases sitting in a pile from bad landings or hitting...

oh and when my 05 kept popping the breaker, it was the red with white stripe wire that runs from the starter to under the seat, right where it goes up under the rear plastics above the right foot peg there is a white connector that comes loose inside the holder and causes the wire to arc and pop...

i have an 87 a 92 and an 05, none of them have more then one fuse, and the 05 def has the breaker, the other two dont. to remove the starter, you have to loosen the motor mount bolts in the front, you will see them, one goes thru the frame and the other two have rubber donuts on them, its...
