    Take it easy guys...

Well, it was fun hang'n around here, at least as long as it lasted... Sold both Raptors today, to some really nice folks who I know will have tons of fun on them. The guy gave me a really nice compliment on how nicely tuned I had them, which made me smile a little. Sad to see the 350's go, I...

    Uh oh! Time to sell...

Unfortunately theres no way around it. Even riding 'casually' off-road puts a decent amount on strain on the knees. Riding around off-road 'sitting' most of the time will just drive me crazy. Its OK I guess, I still have my street bikes, and the Doc told me thats no problem. I just have to be...

    Uh oh! Time to sell...

Hey guys, hope all of you are doing well. I havent been on much lately, mostly because I havent been able to ride. I tell ya, too much crazy **** going on these days... I had a good few trips planned for the Raptors this coming summer, and its all a no-go now. I am totally ******* bummed. My...

    05 350 stumbling/jetting issue

It may be more white-ish with little green... Brake cleaner will not dissolve it, nor will it provide enough pressure to move it. Like I said, use a sewing needle, make sure the orafices are clear of debris or residue, then blow them out with an air compressor if possible.

    05 350 stumbling/jetting issue

Float height is definitely a good thing to check and set. How clean is the K&N and Outerwears? Is there an external fuel filter? If the fuel in your area uses ethanol at all, you'll need to double check the jets again. When you clean them, take a sewing needle and poke through them to...

POWER core 4 and powerbomb header, anygood?

Its a good system. If you can get a good price on it, go for it.

    Hey Dudes

Sorry I havent been around much guys, I've been slammed with work lately - too much **** to do, never enough time to do it! I havent even had time to take the Raptors out, doh. Works slowed down a little finally, but I've been tied up with a new ride in the stable.... I recently picked up a...

    I hate Carbs.......NEED HELP ASAP

Thats an interesting idea. In theory it shouldnt matter, but I've seen weirder **** happen, so its a possibility.

    A little Piston work..

Geezus... found out that the initial specs Wiseco gave me were WRONG. Idiots... Then they couldnt tell me what the reduction would be. Yet another reason to stick with JE. Anyways... I got the right specs, and a friend and I worked out the theoretical numbers. I ended up milling off a lot...

    A little Piston work..

I know guy's running the 13:1/771cc config with pump gas, and theyre basically OK with 93-95 octane. The problem for me is that my config is a little more radical. I have .018 off the head, and .004 off the jugs, with a .022-over base gasket. So stock height, but a much tighter head chamber...

    A little Piston work..

Dont try this at home.... unless you have a mill at home... and you have machinist experience.... and you know what youre doing..... LOL These are the pistons from my '86 GSX-R750. I had to lower the compression, and since I'm already using a +base gasket, the pistons were the next...

    Hill climbs?

With the weight distribution and mini torque-moster Warrior/Raptor 350 engine, they are natural born climbers. I proved that to a few idiots several weekends back at Mammoth Bar. they were all on current water-cooled sport quads, charge'n up this particular hill. It was damn steep is several...

    I hate Carbs.......NEED HELP ASAP

Sorry, my bad... I missed that last sentence on my 1st read. That was my clue.... So youre saying, if you put the airbox boot on the carb, with no filter, it misses? Thats frick'n bizarre. The only time I've seen something like that is with (incorrect) pod-filters blocking the air-jets on the...

    I hate Carbs.......NEED HELP ASAP

I'm not sure what the default height is for this carb, one of the guys should know though. As far as the basic procedure, try this on the FP site: http://www.factorypro.com/tech_tuning_procedures/tuning_float_height_adj_procedure.html Mikuni or Keihin carbs all have their floats set...

    I hate Carbs.......NEED HELP ASAP

Those BTM carbs are real POS's... Take the float cage all the way out, the valve will come out with it. It'll fall off the cage, so take care! Make sure theres nothing caught in the float valve/seat. Its hard to tell in the pic (lack of depth perception is a 2D pic, lol), but it looks...

    I hate Carbs.......NEED HELP ASAP

Left is the A/F screw... looks like its about to fall out. I'll let one of the other guys tell ya how many turns out from bottom it should be (I dont remember on that carb). The screw on the right is float bowl drain screw.
