    It's been a long while.....

Wow, it's been 5 years since I've been here. Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I still have the same quad....'02 350 Wolverine "MACHETE" (cuts through anything). Here's a pic..... <><

    FST 435

Cool! :D I was wondering if they made a high torque starter for these things....???? Anyway, good to hear you're not having anymore trouble. <><

anybody ride their wolvie? or just talk about working on it

ATVBud...........I appretiate (sp) that, thanks. No lift kit....I hear they cause too many CV joint problems. I have the ITP M/S 589's on type 5 (I think) rims. They're 25 inch tires, fronts are 8x12 and the rears are 10x12. Awesome traction on most any surface. Smooth ride on hard surfaces too...

    epi clutch springs

Thanks but that was the only hopeful site I had but came up with nothing. If you know of the direct page of that companies site that would be great. Again, I come up with nothing there for Yamaha. Thanks again, <><

    epi clutch springs

Re: springs Yeah....50 bucks for 5 small springs is a bit rediculous but the performance change is probably well worth it AND the question of the day is where the heck did you find them? I Googled for them with no luck. Thanks in advance for your help. <><

    FST 435

The stock battery is a 12 amp..... A 14 amp will fit in the compartment....at least on my '02 it does  . Maybe this is the little bit extra you need to roll that thing over. <><

anybody ride their wolvie? or just talk about working on it

Awesome vids guys.....yeah, post equipment and software recommondations. Maybe someday I'll figure it out. We here in up-state New York like muddin' and trail riding but best of all it's the slow rock crawling and near mountain goat like terrain that get us smilin' :D . Going where you...

    Any sticker freaks out there????

This is the current auction. I only have a couple of these left and I'm only doing the auctions now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320109924327&rd=1,1 Quality factory stickers....nice. Later, <><

    Wolverine Relocated Reverse Lever......

I thought that too....not having your thumb on the throttle. Did you read my e-bay discription?........"great for plowing". We're on the same track....I don't understand why anybody wouldn't modify their Wolverine this way. Wham...bam, done deal. Soooooo fast and easy. I even hooked up a halogen...

    Any sticker freaks out there????

It was a sheet of ITP stickers. I'm running very low so I guess I'll just list them on e-bay. Thanks for looking...I don't know why the picture doesn't come up. Later, <><

    Wolverine Relocated Reverse Lever......

You should make out pretty good. The lever is a "shorty" brake lever and the cable is brake cable for a bike. The only thing else to fab is the "arm" for the reverse shaft on the right side cover and a eye bracket to hold the cable (to the side cover). Simple concept....I'm not sure why the...

    Wolverine Relocated Reverse Lever......

Thanks! To tell you the truth....when I got my Wolverine I wasn't into quads at all. Did some research and went with the Wolverine as my first quad. When I got it I instantly didn't like the concept of the location of the reverse "knob". So, being a machinist I made what I had to and bought the...

    After-market rims...A.K.A. how's that dirt taste?

I couldn't have said it better Steve. I have ITP 589 M/S 25's on the same rims that you have. I like the added stability of the wider stance. Believe it or not, there's some "slow trails" by me and I can't get through some of the obtacles (two trees close together) now.....have to go around. <><

    fst stroker kit

    Is that the 500 on e-bay? <><

    Here's some good reading.....

I think the author has some very good points. I've heard the argument that "thousands of dollors are spent on R&D and that's the way you should break an engine in". Contrary to what R&D says I've had very good results with the "break it in like you're going to ride it" process. This is...

    Sloppy seconds, thirds, fourths...

I guess I'm one of the fortunate few that has a smooth trans. This might have something to do with it also....when I start my bike I let it warm up for a little while. Maybe 2-3 minutes is all it takes. Shifts fine even in the dead of winter. May be as simple as an adjustment too. That clutch...

    Here's some good reading.....

What's everyone's input on this? I'm half a century old and have gone through a lot of toys. An old timer, when I was kid, told me to break it in the way you're going to ride it. Works for me...... http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm What do you think? <><
