I tried the 14/40 when my motor was stock, and it finished off my clutch! Currently running the 13/40, and would like to try 14/40 again, but I see from the dave76 post above that it reccommends a 16/40, I am wanting more out of my stroker, but a little apprehensive after the 14/40 clutches...

I got tired of trying to get mine off, and took it to the shop, where they pressed it off. It took them about an hour to get it loose. The person I bought it from did not beleive in preventative maintenace (grease)!
You might unhook the kill switch, and ohm it to verify your don't have a bad contact. If you do, try cleaning contacts, and put the di-electric grease on the contacts.
My DG is chrome, did this look chrome color where it wasn'r rusting? If you heat up the outer pipe, it will expand, and you should be able to get them to separate. This might not do much for your paint job, though!
I was playing in the snow(360s), and it grabbed on about the third one and threw me.
