I just replaced mine with a Walmart battery. It was $30. Works great even in freezing temps.

Thats exactly what happens.... :( I tried to hydroplane a flooded over spot about 20' across, 2' deep, it it in 5th gear tapped out, when the back tires it, it slowed the quad down fast, the front dropped into the water, then before I knew what happened I was under water with the quad on top...

Pin gets removed as well, as it's part of the parking brake assembly. Yes you can get a new clutch lever to remove all the stuff, just have to bypass the electrical switch. (Its for the starting system)

Yep you got it. If you can bypass the solenoid with jumper cables directly from the battery to the starter, and it works, then the solenoid went bad. You can confirm one more way if you wish, by taking an old screw driver and touching the 2 posts together where the battery cables attach to the...
