    96 warrior hard to start when hot

    Hello, I have a 96 warrior with a strange starting issue. It will start right up when cold or even when warm, but not when it's hot--at least this is the only pattern I have been able to find. For example...if I ride around my house or in the hills, it will restart without any problems...

    We could start by having the site actually show up in a google search for 'yamaha warrior forums', etc. I had heard on the atvconnection forums that there was a forum dedicated warriors, but the domain name they kept referring to no longer exists. It must have taken me an hour combing...

    Fresh Meats

    I have the same tires--The maxxis on my warrior and the chen shin chevrons on my sons lt185. I really like both of them. The maxxis I almost like better than my paddles on the dunes, and they are great in the mud. The Chen shins go anywhere.

    Has anybody noticed this (carb/accelerator pump)

    Hmmm...I supposed that when the float bowl is in place the plunger may be down far enough that it wouldn't be an issue. So that begs the question....if it's not that, then wtf is causing it to stick? How much for the z400 carb? Does it work that much better? Thanks!

    Hi all. I just spent the weekend going through carb in my warrior because it would bog and sometimes die when I nailed the throttle from idle. I know this means that the accelerator pump was not working. So I pulled down a service manual and went to work. My accelerator pump was stuck...
