I'm no expert, but maybe you have a different size sprocket on the 89? therefore taking away from your top end and adding extra bottom end

I dont think checking for spark is the right answer because if the engine is not cranking over fully you wont be getting spark, take your starter out its really easy and hook it up to a battery, you gotta ground it and then see if it spins, if it doesnt spin or it just spins a little bit then...

see thats the first thing im going to check because yes it does act like the battery wont hold a charge, but why would all my lights be able to work at the same time, also would the battery not being able to power the ignition properly cause it to run the way it is

I think i have seen someone here ask if the rims off of a yfz450 would work on a warrior and the answer was yes, would it be the same with rims from a raptor 700, they have the same bolt pattern and offset? thanks

that makes sense i guess ill have to check other dealers and see what they can do, i know my closest dealer wouldnt, and another place that does alot of modding on quads and sleds didnt even have hmf in their books i guess ill have to make some calls

gtpimp the 9 is actually cooler compared to the 8, so it is opposite of what you think, a 7 would be hotter than the 8
