It took me over a year to realize that I need a new exhaust gasket. :-X I finally put a new one in on saturday and wow, I went up 2 sizes on the main jet and it sounds so much better. Not much louder at low revs, but now when it gets up in the middle at WOT it makes this mean growl that just reverberates off of everything and can be heard through a thick forest like it was right beside you.

Now I finally realized that my valves need adjusting too, that caused about a month's worth of jetting headaches when it would be perfect, then next ride it would be too lean or rich.

And not only that, I burnt my arm on the header right where it meets the pipe. And that was after an hour's worth or hard riding in the 30c+ heat.

Now that's gonna leave a mark. :p

Thats a good sized one you got their. I'm guilty of doing that a few times, your luck the skin didn't turn white those ones hurt a lot.
