What is the best performance carb for a stock warrior engine?

Need something good, but nothing that hurts the wallet. I've seen so many choices, but not sure which one is worth getting.
 
Lots of opinions on what the best carb is. The FCR is good on really heavily built warriors. The edelbrock and vm 38 are good on medium to mild builds, but the stock carb does just fine on mild builds. I like the stock carb other than that its a pita to tune.
 
I was thinking about a vm38, but thought it might be too much for my stock engine. Also I don't know what adapters or mods I might need to make it work on my machine.
 
That's a little out my price range. I'm thinking about the vm 38. Just need to know what I need to make it function on my machine.
 
BKRoll makes custom intakes for the VM38's. PM him if he's not busy he can hook you up, if not check out Jeffs Elite build he has some detailed pics of his intake setup.
