^ thats exactly what you need to set in a vacume former. Presto, perfect hoods. Cut them out and slap them on.

How would a CNC work? Get a huge block of plastic and mill one out?

I should be able make one out of wood on a CNC in a couple months of somebody has a Spec drawing or just some specs for me.

You just need the form, wood would work. Once you have the form, you can get a vacuum former to make them in mass quantities.

Milling out of plastic is over kill and only will produce one.

I will try to make one from wood. The CNC isn't even running yet, got it last week.
