Some of the cheaper mods that will noticably wake it up a bit are a slip on exhaust, a clamp on air filter set up with a K&N or UNI filter and rejetting. I have an HMF slip on and I love it, it was relatively cheap at $200 off of ebay and from any other online store they go for like $225. I also have the clamp on K&N filter with no airbox lid and an outerwears and it works great. I really felt a bit more power and throttle response after adding these mods and it was well worth the cost.
