Have an 07 350 with about 30 hrs on it and the valves have never been check. Was going to take it to the dealership on Wednesday but it looks so easy, there's a very good how to vid on youtube and it's the same year as my quad. Only thing is, nowhere does he ever use a torque wrench. My question to those of you who adjust your own valves is, Do you actually use a torque wrench on the jam nut and tappit/valve cover screws, or just eyeball it. I think the specks for both are around 7.5 flb and my torque wrenches dont go that low. Thanks alot!

I used one. I have a cheap Craftsman wrench with the bending bar that reads low values like that. I would buy one if you don't have one because there are low torque numbers like that all over motorcycles and ATVs.
