Uni Air filter @#$&^#!

I cannot get my UNI air filter on the bracket after it has been taken off, cleaned and oiled?!?!?!?! I cannot believe how difficult it is to slide the rubber mouth over the bracket - no matter how I try it the oil gets on the bracket and it will not stay on there. I think the bracket is too big.

Ive put a little bit of lithium grease or SC1 spray on the lip just enought to help is move on without binding

May be able to set it on vehicle dash in the sun with the windows rolled up to help soften rubber. Could also use a hair dryer or heat gun, just don't get carried away.
