the little nub that is on the top of the case behind the cam cover ...looks like a rounded off upside down triangle its on the very top of the cam case

that is what i am suppose to line up the mark on the cam gear with right?
 
awsome ... mines dead on it , thanks ,

i just installed my new cam (since i snapped the end of the stock one off last night)
 
It should Line up with the T on the flywheel and the cam should line up with the nipple on the top of the cam cover opening.
 
yep thats what i got after alot of cussin snappin off a cam ,reinstalling new cam , fixin a hole in my barn wall ,retiming and now waitin on a feel her gauge ............i think i said think i got it back up and runnin we'll see after i readjust the valves here in a bit
