I went for my first long ride on the Warrior today and when I was hitting the last trail it started making a ticking noise. Isn't that the timing chain? How do I fix it? I believe the guy that rebuilt it said he put a brand new D.I.D timing chain in it.

Check your valves. Warriors are known for loud valve trains, but it wouldn't hurt to check the valve lash.

I'll check it Monday probably. I may have a bunch of stupid questions because I've never tried to work on an engine.

So... While we're on valves... My 95 warrior was ticking a little ( I dident know that that was normal) so I decided to try my first valve clearence adjustment. It went wrong... It ticks sooo much more than it did its BAD! I believe that it is completely stock but if it had cams would the measurements be different???
