It's probably close, they put out about 32 stock, but a good expantion chambered set of pipes could add close to 10HP then add the extra compression and your getting close to 50. So it wouldn't be unheard of.

Yeah the stock Yamaha pipes are pretty worthless. It's all for meeting sound restrictions.

Depending on porting he could have 50hp or more. Porting is everything to banshees and 2 strokes in general. The stroked banshees that run the hill climb series around here are putting out around 100.
