Stator cover stuck

Well I'm fixing my oil leak and the stator cover won't budge.. It's been rtved.. Any tips or tricks to break it loose?? It doesn't help matters that the oil plug is rounded but I'll address that later

Tap around the cover with a rubber mallet. I just replaced my stator and that's how I got the cover off. As for the oil plug use a metal chisel and a hammer. I did that too. Flip you ATV up onto the grab bar Get a bite with the chisel on the outer part of the plug and tap it around. That should break it free

I got the cover off its all replaced no leaking... So it's all good thank you for the advice it worked... I put new oil in it after that so I will worry about the oil plug in the fall when it needs changed... I see you can get new plugs online so I will get a new one so when I get the old one out I can put a fresh one on..thanks again for your help
