i have a 1998 Yamaha Warrior but its haveing troubles starting. the starter is turning over but only turns over the engine every once and a while. It will start after a while but its not to good when im out riding its always got to be on or it might not start. If anyone knows what the problem is? and could help that would be great

Starter clutch might be slipping? other than that I don't know/
 
not clear what you're saying, but only turns over once in awhile, as in slowly? or only catches the engine once in awhile. Or it just sorta does or doesnt crank?

Check your batt terminals and the wiring to your starter. and your ground. Mine fades out and doesnt start cuz my cables keep comming loose.. with or without red locktight.
