My 03 Wolvy 350 runs great at 9,000 Ft elevation with the stock spark plug (NGK DR8EA). Carb has been re-jetted for 9,000 Ft. Once or twice a year I get up to 13,000 Ft and the spark plug misses allot because mixture is too rich (less oxygen but same amount of fuel). It also suffers an extreme loss of power, which I can deal with if I can eliminate the plug misfiring. The engine also gets real hot (but no hot oil light) climbing up to 13,000 Ft going slow in 1st gear with not much cooling air flowing around cylinder because I'm going slow. Can someone recommend a spark plug that will still fire in a rich mixture and also handle the higher engine temperature?
