Hey Guys. What exactly is in volved in using an 02 and later raptor or banshee shock on a warrior? I know there has to be some airbox mods but what else? Anyone got any pics of this done? Thanks for the help guys!!!!!!!

From what i've heard, newer raptor shocks won't fit no matter what, because the reservoir hits the frame or something. Also, this is just what i've picked up from this and other forums, a banshee shock will basically fit without modification, the piggyback will hit the airbox the first time the shock gets compressed all the way, but it makes a dent in it, so the shock is supposed to automatically modify the airbox.

Well, whats the difference in a raptor and banshee shock? They both are piggyback rezzies. Does the res on a banshee hang lower than a raptor or what?

as far as rear... they both have rezzys...

01 raptor= remote rezzy
02+ rapptor= offset piggy back
banshee= piggy back

you can cut the air box or heat it and bend it to modify it as needed...

the 01 shock works...
the 02+ hits the swingarm
the banshee works if the airbox is modified...

i secured mine with 2 175lb test zipties
