I have a 2000 Wolverine that smokes on startup. I have been told that the valve seals are probably worn some and a little oil drips down the seals and burns on startup. I ordered two seals and was going to put them in myself but was told that it is a BIG job. A cycle shop here in town said that it is a 4 to 5 hour job at $65.00 an hour to replace the seals. Is it really that big of a job? He said the motor will have to be re-timed since the head has been removed in the seal repair. Sooooooooo......is it really worth $325.00 to put in $11.00 worth of parts????
