popping??

well i bought a warrior and i fixed it but when i start it, all it wants to do is just pop as soon as you give it gas.the carb boot that conects to the carb to the motor has alil slit in it, could that be the problem? help me out guys!

yerp..i like how they make the flanges look metal on each side..or are they just metal..or alum on each side for the nuts or bolts to tigthen...cuz when i put my carb on i torque the nuts and watched that boot turn lol i never knew it was rubber?? thank god i never ripped it...good luck on the fix thought

also, would like 2 teeth difference on the timing, would that change anything?

no the boot is cheap ..... do it right

Fix your timing and get a new boot. Tighten the engine bolts down while your at it.

When you reset the timing, check you cam chain tentioner.
