Noticed yesterday....And a few questions.

Went for a ride yesterday and noticed the 450 started to smoke a little.
Never smoked before...However before the ride i added a little oil...and
now it is smoking.How accurate is the dip stick?It is almost as if it is over full and burning off the excess.
Also does anyone have a cross for an aftermarket oil filter?
And what type [brand..weight]of oil do you guys use?

I downloaded a pdf manual for my 04 wolvy and it said to not thread the dipstick in when checking the oil level, which I had been doin since I bought it at income tax time. Not sure if the newer ones are like that too or if that would even have anything to do with your problem but I figured I would add that in here anyways lol
