hello, new to the forum and trying this out. i own 2 warriors an 88 and a 2002 and love them! heres my problem i was riding out on the trails with my father in law yesterday and i decided to play in a large mud patch well needless to say i got stuck in the middle so i tied a strap to my to my 88 and had my father in law try to pull me out he was on quite an angle when he went and before i knew it hes saying theres no gears i got over there and was smelling something funky so i shut it off and trailered it home..the next day i decided to mess with the clutch cable a bit and it started to move and still does but rides funny like its slipping a bit under pressure and there is too much rpm to what the actual speed you going, does this sound like a clutch to you? i have a manual and plenty capable of doing it but just dont want to spend all kinds of money on it that wasnt gonna help... thanks in advance!

First off, welcome. Secondly, post up some pics of you quads. Thirdly, sounds like you burnt the clutch out. Easy fix. Enjoy the site.
