Hi guys:
I just change my clutch lever for an aftermarket one MSR shorty. Why isn't my reverse working? I know since I remove the clutch neutral switch I can only started in neutral but what is going on with my reverse?

You can bypass the clutch switch you removed by plugging that part of the wiring harness back into itself. You can start in any gear if you do that, but you'll just have to remember to pull in the clutch before you start it in gear. I'd try bypassing the switch and see if it fixes the reverse problem, although I don't see how the reverse could be affected by it. Maybe the clutch is adjusted wrong and is still dragging when you pull the lever in.

Thanks YamaRider did it and I think the reverse has to do something with the clutch switch because now with the wires together everything is fine.

That's cool. I guess that's to keep you from putting it in reverse without pulling in the clutch.
