Just picked this up off Token... trying to diagnose what this noise is....

When I put it in gear and start to let out the clutch, it starts knocking.. it's definately in the bottom end. It's only when there is stress/force on the engine. I rode it around my back yard, and when I was at a constant speed for a min it went away, but then came back as I slowed down.
Top end was recently rebuilt, but this is def from the lower end.
Any idea?

try to raise the back end up so you can run it through some gears with no weight on the wheels and see if it will still do it and how bad...could be a few things its hard to tell on that video though, possibly a rod.

I was there when it happened. I think its a rod bearing. Whats the oil look like? The valves gaped right? Its in time?

Start takin some covers off, look for wear. If it is the rod, have fun with that!

Thursday my buddys gonna help me look at it n see what we can find out.

I forgot that this did happen to Chris at last years YFM350.com ride at Wellsville.
