MY nerf bars?

why does my heel guards look weired when they are on top of the nerf bars? are they supposed to look like that ? also im trying to put z400 plastics on my warrior? could it fit with modifications? im gonna paint the plastics blue and take out the z400 light and patch that light hole.

I bet you are supposed to remove the heel guards when you install the nerf bars.
