so i wanted to relocated the head lights to get them off the top so they didnt look so much like bug eyes...but i didnt want to weld any brackets or drill the frame anywhere ... so this is what i came up with
i can give more details if needed
1x1 square angle notched on one side so you can get the socket in there to put the boltback in
this is the side the light mounts to, i used the stock headlight bolt and just added a nut and locknut
this is a close up of the bracket bolted back up ...bolts to the gas tank bolts
i took the inside steel spacer off of each light so it would sit properly against the square channel
all done ...no welding,and used all the stock bolts back
