got a '99 wolvy.

every time i go out in the mud i have to clean the carb. i thought i fixed it last time when i rerouted the vent line to the handle bars

the fuel bowl is always FULL of dirt. is there dirt getting by my air filter or is the problem still the vent line? and what would be the solution?

thanks
matt

has no one had this problem? every time i take it out it spudders and backfires. just diving through the trail it acts up right when i get deep out in the woods

I had the same problem. I put a fuel filter on the vent line that runs up to the air intake. It keeps the dirt out of the vent line. No problems anymore.

Make sure you have that one way valve installed on the line from the carb bowl. If you just have a rubber tube coming off the bowl, you're missing the one way.
